This mindset obsessively measures success by having more than everyone else, even if their own business suffers. The Quranic example reminds us that such smug reliance on worldly assets can crumble at any moment, though it’s not guaranteed, it’s always a possibility. Recognizing this truth should humble anyone enjoying abundance, since everything in this life can shift without warning. Embracing that awareness is what Allah truly wants from us.
