An Abbasid Caliph Mamoon Ur Rasheed c.813 once attempted to destroy the Pyramids of Giza. Although he could not succeed in breaking the entire structure however the entrance we see today which leads to the Queen’s chamber is due to the sabotage Caliph inflicted onto the Pyramid.
But why ? Because once of his frieds sent him a letter from Greece that spoke about a secret entrance into the walls of the pyramid.
