A theological division within the Ummah where one group considers it part of their religion to love the ṣaḥābah and believes them to be the best generation after the Prophets of Allah, whereas another group believes that most the ṣaḥābah went astray and disobeyed the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and consider it a part of their religion to curse the ṣaḥābah & some of the wives of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).
