Episode 44 of Akhri Moujza begins with Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan entering into a new topic – the use of “Examples” given in the Quran. He starts by explaining the purpose of examples and why they are given.
Ustadh highlights that the examples of the Quran should be understood in accordance to the culture they were given in and how the first receivers, the Arabs, perceived them. In the light of this, Ustadh Nouman gives an explanation of Ayah 31 of Surah Al-Hajj and Ayah 74 of Surah Al-Baqarah and highlights that the dictionary meaning is not always enough to understand the true depth of the Quran. Ustadh then emphasizes again us that we have to bear in mind the culture and the language of the Arabs in order to truly understand the meaning of the Quran.
آخری معجزہ کی اس قسط میں استاد نعمان علی خان نے ایک نئے موضوع “قرآن میں مختلف امثال” کا آغاز کیا ہے۔ استاد نے آغاز میں یہ واضح کیا ہے کہ مثال کیوں اور کب دی جاتی ہے۔ استاد نعمان علی خان نے یہ نمایاں کیا ہے کہ قرآن کی امثال کو ان عرب لوگوں کے نظریہ اور ثقافت کے لحاظ سے سمجھنا چاہیے جن پر یہ نازل کی گئی تھی ۔ اسی کی روشنی میں استاد نعمان علی خان نے سورۃ الحج کی آیت 31 اور سورۃ البقرہ کی آیت 74 کی وضاحت کی ہے اور یہ نمایاں کیا ہے کہ قرآن کی اصل گہرائی سمجھنے کے لئے ہر بار لفظی معنی کافی نہیں ہوتے۔ استاد نعمان علی خان نے ہمیں یہ نصیحت کی ہے کہ اگر قرآن کے اصل معنی کو سمجھنا ہے تو ہمیں عربی زبان اور قدیم عربی ثقافت کو سیکھنے اور سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
