In episode 41 of Akhri Moujza, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan starts by introducing a new topic: “Oaths in the Quran”. Ustadh Nouman begins by discussing various occasions in which a person takes an oath, which includes “to show anger”, “to clear doubt”, “a testimonial oath” and “casual/purposeless oaths”.
Ustadh Nouman explains that before Islam it was common for Arabs to take oaths without any purpose, so the Quran takes into consideration their cultural habit of taking oaths casually and showed leniency about it. Furthermore, Ustadh Nouman explains the components of the oath (i.e مقسم بہ and مقسم علیہ) and discussed the various purposes of oaths.
آخری معجزہ کی قسط نمبر 41 میں استاد نعمان علی خان نے ایک نئے موضوع کا آغاز کیا ہے جس کا عنوان ہے “قرآن میں قسمیں”۔ استاد نے آغاز میں چند مواقع کا ذکر کیا ہے جس میں ایک شخص عمومی طور پر قسم کھاتا ہے۔ جس میں “غصے کا اظہار کرنا “،”شک کو دور کرنا”، “گواہی کا حلف اٹھانا” اور “بے مقصد قسم کھانا” شامل ہیں۔ استاد نعمان علی خان نے بتایا کہ اسلام سے پہلے بھی عرب معاشرے میں قسم کھانا عام بات تھی اور وہ تقریباً ہر بات پر قسم کھایا کرتے تھے اور قرآن نے ان کے اس معاشرتی طور طریقے کا لحاظ رکھتے ہوئے اس معاملے میں نرمی اختیار کی ہے۔ مزید استاد نے قسم کے اجزاء (مقسم بہ اور مقسم علیہ) بیان کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ قسم کھانے کے بیشتر مقاصد بھی بیان کیے ہیں۔
