We have all heard about Dajjal, Yajooj Majooj and Zulqarnain mentioned in surah Kahf since our childhood, but what is the truth about them that very few people know of?
There are certain Hadiths and traditions which speak of an extremely powerful man called Dajjal who is yet to come near the end times. Nobody will have the power to fight with him except Hazrat Issa (a.s) whom Christians know as Jesus. And when Dajjal will confront Hazrat Issa, he will “melt” as if the salt is dissolved into water — Yes; I am quoting you the words of hadith as it is.
Then there are other stories of strange beings called Yajooj Majooj (Gog & Magog) that are also yet to come. Once again, something that no-one will be able to fight with and Muslims — are adviced to flee from their fitna. A fitna that is barely held right now behind a wall that was built by Zulqarnain (also mentioned in surah Kahf).
