In this episode, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explores the story of the rich man and the poor man in Surah Al-Kahf [18:32-44]. The rich man believed his wealth was permanent and a sign of divine favor, convincing himself that nothing could take it away. He said, “I do not think this will ever perish” [18:35], but when his gardens were suddenly destroyed, he realized—too late—that he had placed his trust in the wrong things.

This Quranic lesson highlights the dangers of arrogance, self-deception and forgetting that all blessings come from Allah. Wealth and success are not guarantees of divine approval but tests that can be taken away at any moment. True security lies in humility, gratitude and recognizing that nothing lasts except what Allah wills.
