Many people worship idols, others venerate the dead and many in our times live a hedonistic lifestyle and have taken their desires as a god besides Allāh (subḥānahu wa ta’āla).
The essence of being a Muslim is to negate veneration to every other false deity and submit oneself wholeheartedly only to Allāh (subḥānahu wa ta’āla) the most high.
May Allāh (subḥānahu wa ta’āla) make us live, die and be resurrected upon ‘la ilāha illa Allāh’, Allahumma ameen!
