“When their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear Allah?” Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. So fear Allah and obey me. And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.” ~ [Surat Ash-Shu`arā', verses 161-164]
Prophet Lut (‘alayhi’l-salām) was sent as a brother and a Prophet to his people who genuinely cared about them and was concious of Allah and sought reward from Him alone.
