He recounts how Yusuf (AS) arrived in Egypt, eventually gaining a special status under the king and later bringing his family to join him. These descendants became known as the Children of Israel. However, after a war, new rulers – the Pharaohs – came to power in Egypt and enslaved the Children of Israel.
Ustadh explains how, in response to a dream foretelling his demise at the hands of a man from Bani Israel, the Pharaoh began a campaign of killing newborn boys. It was during this time that Prophet Musa (AS) was born. Ustadh concludes the session by emphasizing the importance of children following their parents’ instructions promptly, without wasting time on unnecessary questioning.
