One Word with Adam Jamal – “Yadrib” Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 26

In the early parts of Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says that He is not embarrassed to give an example of even the tiniest of His creations like a mosquito. Whenever Allah wants to give an example in the Quran, He pairs it with the word “yadrib”, which literally means to “strike” or “hit”. The impact of this is to make us pay attention as He strikes us with such manifestations of His omnipotence.
