All human beings will receive their “efforts” on the day of judgment. The word sa’a here simply means the effort that you made. Unlike the case in this life, where we are always being judged by results, on the Day of Accounting, Allah looks at our efforts and will reward each one according to how far he exerted his/herself along the path.
