In Episode 3, we’re now moving on to a maqam that’s very beloved in the eastern parts of the world especially – Maqam Nahawand.
A little bit harder to perfect than the previous Maqam Sabah, Ustadh Nouman and Qari Ibrahim perform various recitation exercises to find the perfect pitch.
The method used in this series for learning each maqam will consist of:
1) Learning about the origins
2) Humming the tone
3) Reciting Al-Fatihah
4) Reciting the Adhan
