In this video, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan shares the journey and challenges of launching Bayyinah TV, our Quran study platform that started 14 years ago. Originally envisioned as the “Netflix for Quran studies,” Bayyinah TV was designed to provide Muslims with a structured, protected platform for Quranic learning, setting it apart from social media platforms like YouTube.
Over the years, the platform faced technical and user experience issues. Ustadh Nouman, along with Chief Technology Officer Shahoor, discusses the upcoming improvements, including enhanced interactivity, personalized learning, better content discovery and a 360-degree content view. The goal is to help users engage more deeply with Quranic studies, Arabic and other Islamic content without feeling overwhelmed.
The relaunch will introduce new features like a “My Learning” section, more organized study paths and even free access to content like the Al-Fatihah series and the 10-Day Reading Challenge. Stay tuned for updates.
