Allah the creator of time has determined that not all time with Him is the same. He tells us about the months in Surah at-Tawbah that they number 12 and 4 from them are sacred. They are as the Messenger (peace be upon him) taught us Dhul Qidah, Dhul Hijja and Muharram being consecutive and Rajab on its own. Scholars have mentioned how good deeds are multiplied during these seasons of goodness, We are already in the month of Dhul Qidah which is one of the Ashur al-Hurm and next comes the blessed month of Hajj.
Allah swears by many aspects of time, Al-Duha, Al-Asr, Al-Layl, Al-Falaq, this denotes how important it is. In Surah al-Fajr Allah say “By Fajr and the by the 10 nights”. Scholars of Tafseer have described these 10 as referring to the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, within them are the great days of hajj. With Arafah being the greatest of all days of the year. We will look at this day in more detail with the episodes to come, May Allah allow us to see Arafah and accepts our actions.
