Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan starts by explaining with an example the difference between the word “Adl” and “Qist”. The next comparison is being done between the micro view of Arabs vs the macro view of non-Arabs. Another remarkable example of precision used in Surah Ash-Shu’ara is being highlighted by Ustadh as the Quran skips the word “brother” while mentioning Prophet Shuaib PBUH when he was sent towards the People of Aiykah (A big Tree). Ustadh explained one of the miracles of the Quran is that it was originally a recital and there is no editorial process while speaking. A book can be edited but not the speech while it was coming out the mouth of the speaker. How Allah protected His Quran is truly a miraculous sign from Him. Towards the end Ustadh explained the difference between the two words used for calling someone.

استاد نے آغاز میں مثال کے ذریعے “عدل” اور “قسط” میں فرق واضع کیا ہے۔ اگلا موازنہ عرب اور غیر عرب کی تہزیب اور ان کی قرآن کی تفسیر کے مابین کیا گیا ہے کہ کس طرح عجمی کشادہ نظریہ اور مکمل صورۃ کو مدّنظر رکھتے ہوئے اور عرب کے مفسرون باریک بینی سے ایک ایک لفظ کی گہرائی کی تفسیر بیان کی ہے۔ سورة الشُّعَرَاء کی ایک حیرت انگیز آیت کے ذریعے استاد نے قرآن میں الفاظ کے دقیق استعمال کا ایک اور نمونہ پیش کیا ہے جس میں شعیبؑ کے لئے اَصۡحٰبُ لۡـَٔیۡکَۃِ کی طرف بھیجے جانے والی آیت میں “بھائی” کا لفظ حذف کیا گیا ہے۔ قرآن کا معجزہ یہ ہے کہ یہ کتاب کی بجائے کلام کی صورت میں نازل ہوا جس میں ترمیم کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں ہوتی جبکہ کتاب پر نظرِ ثانی کی جا سکتی ہے۔ مگر جو بات ایک بار منہ سے نکل جائے وہ واپس نہیں جا سکتی۔ اللہ کی قدرت کا ایک نمونہ ہے کہ اس نے کس طرح اپنے کلام کو محفوظ رکھا ہے۔ آخر میں استاد نے کسی شخص کو اپنی طرف بلانے کے لئے استعمال ہونے والے عربی کے دو الفاظ “ھَلٌمَّ” اور “تعالَوا” میں فرق بیان کیا ہے۔
