Some Muslims, wanting to understand their faith and increase their spirituality, enroll in Islamic studies courses in Western
universities.
However, as Dr. Yasir Qadhi explains, it is a mistake to assume that such universities cater to the spiritual and educational needs of a religious-minded Muslim. These universities have their goals and methodologies, and religious Muslims should be aware of the paradigm they are stepping into before enrolling at such institutions.
