Concept of God in Hinduism According to Upanishad & Bhagvad Geeta – Dr Zakir Naik

There are various sacred Hindu scriptures, amongst the Hindu scriptures one of the sacred Hindu scripture is called as Upanishads.
It’s mentioned in the Chandogya Upanishad Ch. 6, Sec. 2, V. 1.
“Ekam Evadvitiyam”
It’s a Sanskrit quotation, which means God is only one without a second.
It’s mentioned in the Shwetashvatara Upanishad Ch. 6, V. 9
“Nacasya kascij janita na cadhipah”
‘Of that God, He has got no parents, He has got no lord. Almighty God has got no mother, He has got no father, He has got no superior.’
It’s mentioned in the Shwetashvatara Upanishad Ch. 4, V. 19
“Na tasya pratima asti”
‘Of that God there is no ‘pratima’.’
‘Pratima’ in Sanskrit means, it means an image, it means a photograph, painting, portrait, idol, statue, sculpture.
‘‘Of that God there is no ‘pratima’, of that God there is no image, there is no painting, there is no photograph, there is no portrait, there is no idol, there is no statue, there is no sculpture.
Further, if you read Bhagwad Geeta, which is the most widely read religious scripture amongst the Hindus.
It’s mentioned in Bhagwad Geeta Ch. 7, V. 20
“All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship demigods”.
Some of the translations says, “they worship false god”.

So according to Bhagwad Geeta Ch. 7, V. 20, Those people whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, that means those people who are materialistic, they worship false god.
