Sulaiman ruled over a magnificent kingdom, centred in Jerusalem. Not only was he the ruler of the people, but also of the birds and animals, jinn, clouds and even the wind. There has not been such a glorious and magnificent kingdom seen on earth before or since. He was also given the knowledge and science of other things, including the ability to understand the language of the animal kingdom. He was able to use and control the wind by the will of Allah. He could travel vast distances in a short amount of time. Furthermore, he was able to control the devils from among the jinn, whom worked for him constructing buildings, mining metals, diving for treasures and generally securing the infrastructure of his kingdom.
